The Strategic Accounts Implementation Manager role

Reporting to the Sales Director, the Strategic Accounts Implementation Manager role is responsible for implementing new, strategic IT & Consumer Electronics accounts, growth of existing strategic accounts and where necessary, Service Delivery for these accounts.

This person must be capable of identifying and implementing changes in the company’s sales and service delivery processes, and be able to adjust our services approach that may be necessary as a result of our expected continued rapid growth. The successful candidate will require experience in Account Management, Service Delivery, working with online portals, and direct Service Partner management.

Required Skills/Experience

  • Experience in working with an online portal in an administrative capacity.
  • Proven ability to sell IT services.
  • Experience implementing an internet based application into IT channel firms.
  • Assessment of strategic growth models & reporting of client portal requirements.
  • Understanding of dynamic modeling skills related to national rollout projects.
  • Must have experience within the UK IT & Telecommunications Channel and a good knowledge of the channel focused sales process.
  • Solid grasp of financial planning within allocated accounts.
  • Proven track record of increasing revenues within existing accounts.
  • Knowledge of Service Delivery process and experience in facilitating this within client base
  • Proven ability to build solid relationships to board level

Responsibilities:

  • Build Relationships with key clients
  • Cold calling to potential strategic IT accounts.
  • Conduct initial conference calls and meetings with potential IT clients.
  • Complete Portal demonstrations and training sessions with potential new IT clients – including sessions with project management and sourcing teams.
  • Work throughout the entire sales process from start to finish.
  • Implementing, new strategic IT accounts including training of project management and sourcing/procurement teams on the OW Portal.
  • Achieve IT Revenue Targets by growing the IT business within strategic account client base
  • Responsibility for Service Delivery on all new Strategic IT Accounts brought on board through new business efforts.
  • Resolution of any issues the client may have related to use of the service.
  • Liaising with Service Partners nationwide and building relationships with them.
  • Quarterly Service Review meeting with clients.
  • Assess any client requirements for portal as our business grows, suggest enhancements & review mock ups with portal development team.
  • Maintain a weekly sales pipeline report that tracks the health and status of potential opportunities, accounts about to kick off, and those at risk of postponement/cancellation.
