Toby Strauss
Executive Chairman
Toby is a successful businessman having held board and senior positions at several companies including Charcol,
the UK's leading bricks-and-clicks mortgage broker, McKinsey and IBM. Most recently he was a CEO of John Scott & Partners,
a wealth management and financial planning business.
Toby is able to offer expert comment on consumer marketing - online and offline, internet businesses, IT skills gaps,
offshoring and outsourcing. His opinion has been sought by a wide range of media including BBC Radio 4 (Today) and 5, Working Lunch,
Bloomberg, Sunday Times and specialist trade publications.
Outside of work, Toby plays in a classic guitar ensemble and enjoys sailing and cycling.
Tom Bausemer
Managing Director
Tom Bausemer is OrderWork's Managing Director. Tom brings both strategic and operational leadership to the table in his management of OrderWork's business. He develops new opportunities with both existing and new clients. Tom has P&L responsibility and helped to build the Retail and IT Services. He has also shaped OrderWork’s market messaging, and is feverish about our guiding principles – 2CQRS.
Tom was formerly a commercial director of consulting for Forrester Research Inc., the global IT research company, At Forrester, Tom managed a $20m consulting business, and was responsible for a 125% growth to $45m in just three years. Prior to that, Tom worked for Power Steering Software as sales director. Tom's expertise is within the retail sector, IT vendors, and implementing projects with FTSE 500 companies.
An avid fan of Boston sports, Tom took great pleasure in watching the Red Sox win the World Series in 2004 and 2007. He has also attended New England Patriots SuperBowl victories in 2001 and 2003. In 2008 he flew to Boston to watch the Celtics beat the Lakers to win their 17th NBA championship.
Daniel Richmond
Services Director
Daniel Richmond is OrderWork's Services Director and manages all key account managers at OrderWork.
Daniel ensures OrderWork's buyers requirements are met and carried out in a seamless transition and manages OrderWork's network of
nearly 2,000 suppliers across the UK, Ireland and Germany.
Formally a Manager at Zeda, Daniel was responsible for setting up the London office and specialised in the delivery of consultancy services
for banking and finance in the city. Prior to that Daniel was a account manager at Wincor Nixdorf managing key UK and European retail and
banking accounts and delivering £2m+ maintenance and implementation projects to major European accounts.
Away from the office Daniel is a keen sportsman competing regularly in association football, snow boarding and poker. Dan loves the outdoors and is also partial to long country strolls having been born and bred in rural Berkshire(!)
Ben Creasey
Sales Director
Ben Creasey is OrderWork’s Sales Director. Ben has been responsible for OrderWork’s incredible growth rate of 25% per month and is integral in building and maintaining our client relationships.
Ben is constantly scoping and developing opportunities for clients that would benefit from the OrderWork business model.
Boasting a wealth of service sales experience as former Sales Manager for Westcon, Ben was responsible for sales figures amounting to £6 million for
the Westcon services Division. Ben has also held the position of Channel Manager at Networks First and Silicon Graphics.
Ben is an avid England fan and loves that he can see Wembley from his office window(!)
Christopher FernandesHead of Technology
As Head of Technology, Christopher leads the development and operation of OrderWork’s UK and German client–facing portals and the internal systems that support these sites. Working with both clients and service partners Christopher and his team ensure that OrderWork’s online products meet their needs and are relevant to today’s business environment.
Prior to OrderWork Christopher was a business analyst and project manager for Forrester Research’s European operations. He was responsible for setting up their UK and French operations and also led numerous development projects involving the company’s content management and delivery systems, HR and CRM applications, ensuring they were aligned to and met the business’ needs.
Christopher also holds a MBA from Kingston University which he gained prior to joining OrderWork.
Outside of work, Christopher is very much a family man and is often seen moonlighting on the weekend as a taxi driver for his children and their multitude of activities. He is also known to be partial to a spot of cycling but only when the weather’s good.
